![]() | Prof. Xuefeng ZhouInstitute of Intelligent Manufacturing, GDAS, China XuefengZhou is the Deputy Director and Research Fellow at the Institute of Intelligent Manufacturing, Guangdong Academy of Sciences. His research focuses primarily on robot motion planning, control technology, and automation systems. As of 2024, he has published two English-language monographs, 20 SCI-indexed papers, and 32 EI-indexed papers, and has been selected as a “Top Young Talent in Science and Technology Innovation” under the Guangdong Special Support Program. He has developed proprietary robot design and simulation software. His research focuses on robot motion planning, control technology, and automation systems. He proposed the Self-Perceiving Manipulation Skills Model (IMPs) and combined it with finite state machines to enhance robot adaptability. Through two primary technical approaches—imitation learning and reinforcement learning—he addresses the low efficiency of traditional robot programming and promotes the application of skill learning in industrial and service sectors. |
